- Well, the interwikis are now a mixture of wikinews and wikinewscat. It e.g. lists both de:Template:Wikinews and de:Template:Wikinewscat. I have an idea how that can be solved while still keeping them on unprotected pages, but wanted to check first if there's a best practise for such a case. --Amalthea 11:54, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  - After some discussion at WT:Template documentation#Shared documentation, I've created a dedicated documentation here with a pointer to Template:Wikinews. This is similar to what other templates do, and seems preferrable to other solutions. Amalthea 09:04, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
