Tender Dracula, or Confessions of a Blood Drinker (French: Tendre Dracula) is a 1974 French horror film directed by Pierre Grunstein.[1] The film stars Peter Cushing, Alida Valli and Miou-Miou. The film involves two writers who take their girlfriends to a castle where an actor (Peter Cushing) lives who has played vampires in many films. The longer they stay in the castle, the more likey it seems that the actor is an actual vampire.[3]

Production

The film was shot between February 11, 1974 and March 29, 1974.[2]

Release

The film was released in France in 1974.[1][4] The film was released in France with the alternative title La Grande Trouille.[1] It was released in the United States with the titles Tender Dracula, or Confessions of a Blood Drinker and The Big Scare.[1] It was released in the United States on January 1975.[5]
