[edit] Company history
UKW was founded by Gillian Flowers in February 2008. Jonathan was born on 9 March 1981 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Jonathan created UKW in February 2008, after running The Squared Circle Wrestling Store for the previous 12 months, The Squared Circle Wrestling Store still runs to this day.
Sedgwick has always been a fan of wrestling, growing up wanting to be in the wrestling industry, after leaving school, Jonathan attended Loxley college and did a Household Electrical course, during his time there, he was promised a job with a local electrical company upon completion of the course, however at the end of the course he was told there were no jobs available, which led Jonathan to find a new career.
After a number of jobs he settled into the mobility industry, selling, servicing and repairing all types of mobility equipment, in October 2002, Jonathan and his father started their own mobility company which also still runs to this day, but it wasn't until 2007 when Jonathan and his new business partner, Gillian Flowers began The Squared Circle Wrestling Store, specialising in Wrestling merchandise, he was finally stepping into the wrestling business, then in February 2008, UKW debuted.
In July 2009, UKW open the doors to the only full time Wrestling Academy in West Yorkshire.
