In the 1964 United States presidential election, the state of Rhode Island was marked by the biggest victory of Democratic nominee, incumbent President Lyndon B. Johnson that year across the country.

Although Johnson won election in a landslide (61.1% – the highest percentage for winner in history) and carried all but six states, many of them with over 60% of the vote, Rhode Island was his best showing.
