ROOT-Gaming, is an American StarCraft II team that was created March 22nd 2010. CatZ, Drewbie, JiYan and qxc, were the original founders. On June 11th 2011, compLexity gaming announced the majority of ROOT-Gaming's, roster had joined them with the exception of Destiny, SLush and KiWiKaKi. However on May 15th 2012, Paulo 'CatZ' Vizcarra, announced after the contract with compLexity gaming expired, Himself and Andrew 'Drewbie' Moysey, would re-form ROOT-Gaming. Currently, ROOT-Gaming has 18 players on its roster, the most recent player being Sam 'Kane' Morrissette on April 20th 2013. Acer Teamstory Cup US Qualifiers[edit]

ROOT-Gaming came First Place in the Acer Teamstory Cup US Qualifiers having beat 7 other teams that were competing. In the finals, ROOT took a decisive victory verses team FXOpen of 5-1. This won them an invite to play at the Acer Teamstory Cup, with a prize pool of $20,000.
