2 SEETW I am a physician and edited in Wikipedia many years ago, in the early days, but have not been active and now am basically a beginner since W has evolved. I am a physician with a background in biochemistry, cancer medicine, and hematology. I also have interests in writers and investing. My ultimate goal is to help develop the Medicine department in Wikiversity but I couldn't figure that out, so I thought I would start editing here first.
I am semi-retired (maybe) and have interests in research that could never be developed during most of my working years due to time limitations. Research requires collaboration and I can envision a virtual university. It might even be able to help people get reasonably priced access to journal articles and even perhaps shared laboratory resources.
