Based in South Africa, Adrienne Harris has more than 25 years experience in the tourism industry. Not only has she been successful at an operational level, but has also proven her worth at a strategic level.

Her experience encompasses virtually all aspects, as well as sub-sectors, of the industry and this has proved invaluable in terms of her holistic approach to such a complicated and diverse sector. In addition, her experience has been gained working both in the corporate environment as well as with Government and NGOs. In recent years, she has been recognised as a key tourism development specialist. She has worked not only at a country and regional level, but also at a more micro level, with a special interest in small business development and community beneficiation. She has worked in many different countries, predominantly in sub-Saharan Africa.

Adrienne is co-founder of Wikitourism, an information portal specifically for the South African tourism industry.
