Andrew Spencer was born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin on March 28, 1977. He attended Washington Elementary School before moving to Germantown in 1985. There he attended County Line Elementary School followed by Kennedy Middle School and finally graduated from Germantown High School in 1995.
After high school, Andrew attended UW-Whitewater for one semester before transferring to UW-Milwaukee. As he changed his major from Management Computer Systems to Computer Information Systems to Computer Science, Andrew began to realize that he would be able to start his career in computers without much more formal education.
