I spent 25+ years working on, and teaching about, customer computer performance, capacity planning issues.

I co-authored Fundamentals of Performance Engineering with Keith Smith in 2007 and wrote The Every Computer Performance Book in 2013.

I'm now retired from computing. but work one day a week at Ben & Jerry's as a tour host (just for the shear fun of it) and I'm currently (mid-2014) toying with the idea of writing a book on ice cream.
