Bouzermaurice.com[edit]

Bouzermaurice.com (in English "Move Mauritius") is a new company which incorporated in April 2008. This young company was founded by two young Mauritians and a promising web designer still in their 20s and is growing fast. The company intends to be the business model of Internet based companies, innovative and capable of creating value for its customers as well as its readers. The web page is the first of the kind with a Mauritian Creole version, the mother tongue of Mauritians.

Objectives[edit]

Bouzermaurice.com intends to increase the visibility of Mauritian companies /firms / enterprises/ individuals both in Mauritius and abroad. Given the size of the company the functions are streamlined and the operations remain simple, hence controllable. The CEO of the company envisions making Mauritius a "transparent" shopping destination. The slogan "we help u choose" was thus chosen. The conception of the website is unique and featuring in four languages, the website definitely appeals to the international community. Whether the company will lead to the long awaited Dotcom boom in a small island as Mauritius is yet to be seen, but the trends are positive.
