I live in western Sussex County, Delaware and have lived on the Delmarva Peninsula all my life. I'm the 6th generation of my family to call this area home. My main interests are in local (Delmarva) history, much of which I learned from my grandfather's many stories of growing up here, also computing and computer/information security. I'm a 'hobby' photographer, and do all the normal things like reading, geek out on good TV and movies, etc.
My first article was the one on the Woodland Ferry, which is only about a half mile away from my house. I live with my wife of 9 years, and my four-year old daughter.
Professionally, I'm the Information security Officer for the Delaware State Police, prior to that I worked for several years as a 9-1-1 calltaker and dispatcher. I still miss that work occasionally.
