Allan variance project statement

I am currently doing a project of improving the Allan variance article and associated articles will be added or improved over time. Please feel free to contact me if you feel that something is missing, could be improved or explained better.

The aim of the project is provide a rich set of references to research articles, standards and educational resources for various statements. My hope is that I am able to convey the essence of these functions while providing handy reference for tabular results, caution on various problems and provide means for orientation in the field.

Due to the variations in notations I have been forced to normalize notation such that it is coherent and mathematically correct. Some deviations relates to popular short-hands, some relate to various degree of standardisation. Yeat some deviations comes as a consequence of remaining short-hand notations and conventions. These nitty-gritty details should however not prohibit the casual user from getting correct results and understandings.
