This is a guide on customizing your Userpage. You can customize your userpage with many Wikipedia applications. As a Wikipedian you can also join many different groups according to your interests.

With Userboxes you can show all kinds of various things such as your wikipedia status and your interests. You can view a complete list of userboxes at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Userboxes
Discussion aka Talk Pages With every Userpage comes a Discussion (Talk) page that you can access by clicking the tab that says "Discussion" On this page other users can award you Barnstars as special awards. There are a variety of different Barnstars and a variety of different ways to earn them.

Users can also give you things similar to Barnstars that are not awards. These are used to promote friendship and WikiLove between two users. A few examples would be:

Groups You can join many different groups in Wikipedia's community according to your interests. Most of these groups have a Userbox (See above) that you can place on your Userpage stating that you are a member of this specific group. An example of this would be the Counter Vandalism Unit (CVU). You can create your own group by finding an empty Wikipedia: or Wikiproject: page and saving your group's content onto it.
