  • Jscall now builds against libxul instead of Mozilla's gtkmozembed.
  • VandalSniper now targets .NET 2.0 instead of 1.1.

  • For any diff pages open, if an edit is seen to that page when the diff shown is not the top revision, a red link to the next diff will be added.

  • User interface:
    • Added "clear URL" button.
    • The hitlist now displays the user popup menu when a user is right-clicked.
    • Added "block" link to user popup menu.
    • Added "intel" item to user popup menu, which will open the user's talk, contribs, and block log in new tabs.
    • The browser tabs no longer resize to the largest tab.
    • Rolling back one's own edits now triggers a confirmation prompt.

  • Engine:
    • Change items can now have a type.

  • Added IRC client that uses browne to create a live feed of changes.
  • The sniper now uses the IRC feed for updates instead of doing round-robin polling against the hitlist.
  • The last 100 changes seen on IRC are now cached for use when updating the recent changes pane.
  • Unified internal design of all lists that show diffs.
    • The sniper list will now bold usernames of unchecked diffs, like the recent changes list.
    • Clicking on a selected row in a diff list will now correctly navigate to the diff.
  • Removed some unused interface elements.

  • The sniper tab will no longer become bold when the sniper detects activity.
  • Clicking the sniper message below the browser will hide it and select the sniper tab.
    • Clicking the sniper tab will no longer hide the message.
  • A "block log" link has been added to the user popup menu.
  • The rollback warnings have been updated:
    • {{wr2}} has been replaced with {{wr3}}, and {{wr4}} has been added.
    • The {{tpv}} family of warnings has been updated.

  • When the sniper detects activity it will now display a message underneath the browser.
    • The flashing of the Sniper tab has been removed.
  • User links on all Wikipedia pages will have a [VS] link following them that will pop up the user action menu for that user.
  • Unhandled exception messages now display properly.
  • Non-Wikipedia pages no longer receive any JavaScript glue code.

  • If the sniper tag is not selected, its background will flash once to draw more attention to it.
  • A logged-in user will stay logged in to VandalSniper when viewing a non-Wikipedia site.

    • A change to WP:AIV broke detection of a user who has already been reported. This has been fixed.
