My goal in the Wikimedia projects[edit]
My goal is rather simple in words: to improve the general usability of the projects, the accessibility of the information, the readability, and add to/refine the overall content.
My edits come from the viewpoint of a user who generally has no trouble with finding the information he was looking for, but contributes towards usability if some difficulty is encountered. Additionally, I have a critical eye for spelling and grammar errors; as such, I intend to perform minor edits when I notice an area that should be changed. In this sense, I'm probably best described as a WikiGnome.

Professional Background[edit]
As a graduate with a MSE in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, I have an academic background in medical device engineering. Professionally, I'm looking to apply my engineering and leadership skillset towards the design, development, and manufacturing of medical devices.
I also have a background in computers and am very interested in incorporating software and "smart" technologies with medical devices to develop better products.
Highlights of my experience include:
- Multiple years of experience in team-oriented, medical device design coursework
- Leadership experience in collaborative group and project environments
- Understanding of both engineering and biological aspects of medical product design
- Extensive computer talent including CAD, modeling, and website/application programming
