My name is chuck thompson and I live on the Bering Sea coast of the Alaska Peninsula.

Among my interests and, therefore, likely subjects for Wikipedia contributions are:

• History, especially that of early Siberia, Alaska, the Yukon and the entire goldrush era
• Geography, particularly of Alaska, Western Canada, the Pacific Northwest and Australia
• The north country culture and climate
• Oceans and seafood since that is, after all, my vocation
