Robyn Taylor was born in Sydney and moved to WA in 1978, she earned a Doctorate from UWA on Perth's inter-war architecture, in 1994. Taylor lectured on art hisory at UWA, Curtin, Central Tafe and Clarement art school. In 2001 Taylor moved to Toodyay where she co authored with Rica Erickson Toodyay Homesteads a book about the evolution of the Toodyay district from 1830's and covers the region from Northam in the south to Moora in the north as toodyay was the gateway to early settlers in the region. http://www.hesperianpress.com/index.php/booklist/2011-06-17-00-41-54/t-titles/339-toodyay-homesteads
