Hammelmann Maschinenfabrik GmbH based in Oelde, Westphalia is a manufacturer of high pressure plunger pumps, process pumps and high pressure cleaning equipment. The German company is a member of the Italian Interpump Group.

History[edit]

Founding and development up until 1955[edit]

The company was founded during 1949. It was registered with the Chamber of Commerce on March 1st. 1949. Production commenced with the manufacture of bicycle components followed by subcontract work for electric machinery manufacturers. The first finished product, a “Mus-Mühle” (foodstuff mill) arrived in 1952.This product was later followed by the “Ruck-Zuck” range of construction site elevators. Dosing pumps were added to the product range from 1955 at which point the founder made the decision to concentrate on the development and manufacture of plunger pumps for high pressure water cleaning which laid the foundation for the business as it is today.

Technical developments from 1955 up until today[edit]
