Heathcat is a native of Shercock in the county of Cavan in the north of Ireland. He has lived and worked away from there for half a century, but the town still holds him in its grip - "God gives all men all earth to love, but since man's heart is small, ordains for each one spot shall prove beloved over all" (Kipling's words,they cannot be bettered).
