irispress is the user name of Sandra Wright Sutherland, author/publisher of the following books on cycling: Bicycle Training for the Triathlete *and Others, with Audrey McElmury and Michael Levonas (1983), NO BRAKES! Bicycle Track Racing in the United States (1996), Rainbow Quest: The Adventurous Life of Audrey McElmury, America's First Road Cycling Champion (2017), and Handsling: The Sequel to Breaking Away (2017). Sutherland is originally from San Diego, via Seattle, who now lives in Bozeman, Montana. She is presently engaged in writing a book with Eddie Borysewicz on cycling, an update to his Bicycle Road Racing (1985).
