Kaz Money

Kaz Money was born and raised in Abu Dhabi in a multicultural household (Armenian/Italian/Syrian/Eritrean) and was exposed to great music at a young age thanks to his fathers party loving lifestyle. Living in the developing nation, Kaz benefited by absorbing the best of what the east and the west had to offer.

Musically, Kaz identified with artists such as RUN DMC and LL COOL J and developed a devout love for hip hop. Intrigued by the culture, Kaz would eventually find himself attempting to break into the industry he fell in love with. His first mixtape titled "Thoughts for Food," was enough to land him a meeting with record label executives of a South African based label where he would eventually release one album titled, "Timezup," and sever ties with the failing label.

Since then, Kaz Money has gone on to release two mixtapes titled "Scrap Metal," and “The Ridicule – The Opposition.” Kaz was also featured on Karl Wolf's enormously successful single "Yalla Habibi,” as well as a stand out performance on Kool Savas' "Futurama: United Nations Remix," a popular all-star track with a group of renowned international artists. These career moves helped Kaz Money win Time Out Dubai's Best Local Hip Hop artist award of 2009 and a feature in the magazines May 14-21 issue.

Known for his entertaining music and wild performances, Kaz Money brings an element of unpredictability and comedic flare to every stage he steps out on.
