I'm Keyvan Nayyeri, born on 11 October 1984 in Kermanshah, Kurdistan, Iran. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Semnan University, and am working towards my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
I'm a Software Architect and Software Developer, also an Author and Editor for John Wiley & Sons/Wrox Press. Although primarily involved in activities around Microsoft products publicly, I'm a big advocate of FOSS and non-profit community activities. I am vegetarian and an avid runner, soccer defender, and tennis player. I love humanitarian activities, justice, and peace.
