History[edit]

The full name is The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment and was formed from the amalgamation of the 47th (Lancashire) Regiment of Foot 81st (Loyal Lincoln Volunteers) Regiment of foot, during the Cardwell Army Reforms of late 19th century

Description[edit]

The Loyals is an infantry regiment, specialist needs are supplied by support Regiments, e.g. Royal Signals, Royal Artillery etc

The Headquarters of the Regiment is Fulwood Barracks and the local T.A.V.R. is based at Kimberley Barracks roughly one mile down the road
