This is the User Page of DJ Liberator, whose works can be found at New World Order (band).

New World 0rder is an American Rock/Electronic band from Chicago, Illinois. The group specializes in remixing songs using the Audacity Music Editing Software.

History[edit]

NW0 was founded in 2009 when DJ Liberator first worked on Audacity, using samples from multiple songs, editting them together to form ChopShop, the first single made by the group. They have created a website and have the credits of their songs on their website.[1]

The NW0 is a presumed "duo", which includes Steel Joe, and DJ Liberator, which are most likely pseudonyms. These two have made all their remixes in 1Q of 2009.

Collections[edit]

NW0 has 2 "collections". Each collection contains one or more songs composed and/or remixed on the Audacity Software.[2]

ChopShop LP[edit]

The ChopShop collection is really a song that features an original mix of samples from The Butthole Surfers, Coldplay, Thriving Ivory, Good Charlotte, Europe, Against Me!, Styx, Panic! at the Disco, and Alien Ant Farm. It is their shortest collection, containing only 1 song, of 19 seconds. There is much discrepancy about this collection's title, with 2 different versions of the name, with no space between "Chop" and "Shop", and one with a space.

Remix(es)[edit]

Remix(es) is the group's first real collection, with 4 full-length remixes. This includes a remix of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence", Gorillaz's "El Mañana", Coldplay's "Viva La Vida", and James Blunt's "1973". The Album cover is the opposite side of the USA's Great Seal, which features the All Seeing Eye, and the inscription "Novus Ordo Seclorum".

That is my page that the Wikipedian webmasters are trying to get rid of. Feel free to poke around the NW0's site.
