I have a Diploma of Applied Science in Agriculture (Adelaide University) and have studied Community Development (Oxfam/University of Queensland).

I've worked in agriculture, Australian Quarantine, and project management in automotive R&D, banking industry, an African NGO and health services.

I've travelled in Botswana, Cambodia, Canada, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Namibia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, USA, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
