I'm Dr David C. Michener, the Associate Curator at the University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum. My main purpose with this account is to edit our institutional entries for accuracy. Two of our four properties have wiki pages that need updating, citations, references, etc.: Matthaei Botanical Gardens, Nichols Arboretum. Two more do not yet have pages (Horner-McLaughlin Woods, Mud Lake Bog) even though Horner-McLaughlin Woods has a public nature trail.

I've been the curator here since 1990, so if you think my edits are incorrect, please talk to me before reverting to the incorrect information posted about our institution. As a botanical garden and arboretum, our collections change as plants die or are replaced. So its important to have current information. Thanks!
