Via.News was established in 2015 by Luis Salvado in Portugal.
2016[edit]
In 2016, Via.News had already 15 journalists from 10 countries and was covering important business and technology events in Lisbon such as the "Web Summit" and the Lisbon's Business Angels Club.

Via.News has 33 journalists covering the news from 30 countries.
