Independent digital communications consultant. I was Editorial Director at the World Economic Forum since October 2010, and Senior Director, Communications, from July 2013 to October 2018. Before that I was a professional writer and editor, launch editor of Business21C, a writer on AFR Boss magazine, a consulting editor with the Economist Intelligence Unit, and had a number of global corporate communications clients including Marsh, Swiss Re, the big four accountants, and consultants Towers Perrin. Together with World Economic Forum managing director Adrian Monck, I wrote Crunch Time: how everyday life is killing the future and Can You Trust the Media?. I studied economics and philosophy at the London School of Economics, and have an MBA from the London Business School.
