"The Skewed Review" is a critic's column published in The Dixie Sun, a Dixie State College publication. From week to week, the column critiques people and current events in a fashion similar to movie reviews. The column was first published in 2009 and has since spawned a podcast of the same name.

In place of star ratings, "The Skewed Review" rates situations on an item-by-item basis. For example, in a column titled "Sober advice for celebrities," a review of Lady Gaga included a rating of "five golden rhinestone lobster platform shoes and a huge Minnie Mouse bow completely made of platinum blonde hair."

While the column is generally satirical in nature, it often deals with subjects of a more delicate nature. Some of the more popular issues included topics such as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Charlie Sheen, cyber-bullying, and double standards. The column includes dialogue from readers who actively agree and disagree with the author's views.
