MY VILLAGE ONAAME[edit]
Onaame village is situated in the northern part of Namibia,in the Ohangwena region and governed by Honorable Governor Usko Nghamwa with his canceller madam Mariah Kombwana Ohangwena. The village Onaame is located 35km between Ohangwena and Ondobe constituencyConstituency ,and its within the Helao Nafidi town council Helao Nafidi. My village is rule as a traditional governess by Onaame traditional head master well known as Tatekulu Tawii with his headmenGovernment.My village is populated by Kwanyama ethnic groupTribe and they live together as a united family and in a peaceful neighborhoodSociety.Onaame is a wet district during summer and dry during winter seasons and its a greenland with tall different plant species and small thorn bushesVegetation ,and the weather is always moderate through out the yearclimate.Onaame is not a densely populated area Population and as its still on development process Development, but one can experience a warm welcome from its indigenous people.Houses in my village are constructed with natural materials such as:wood,thatch and Mahangu stalks building materials. The indigenous people practices substance agriculture(cattle and crops).farming and we pound Mahangu to refine flower for our daily needsOmahanguMy village have two community schools (one primary and one secondary school)not situated far from the villageEducationThere is no a complex shopping center nor medium businesses but one can find small businesses run by the local people to sustain their needs and wantsBusinessMy village is blessed with beautiful different plant and animal species and a green pasture for grazing and many water sources(rivers,well,oshanas and pansNatural Resources but most importantly we have access to clean water and electricity and a health facility close to the community Sanitation.Onaame is well infrastructure in terms of roads networks and telecommunication networks InfrastructureWithin 10 years Onaame village will be a developed town with magnificent facilities, one will find more facilities such as:more health facilities, Educational centers,Recreation facilities, shopping complex center,financial services and better housing development, roads and telecommunication networks.Services
