Hi I'm Nebbeat.

I largely edit pages relating to topics which are areas of amateur interest to me. Most of these topics are personal hyperfixations, which I research intensely for my own enjoyment. This includes

• The Beat Generation movement, and it's literary and sociological impacts
• Rock, blues, jazz and folk music, especiallly from the 50s-70s.
• Musical artists such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchel, Lou Reed, The Velvet Underground, and more.
• Popular culture such as The Simpsons, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, etc.

I am passionate about Wikipedia growing in size, containing more information, so that more people can find facts about their interests in one place. For example, one of the main reasons I have kept editing Wikipedia was the lack of information about Jack Kerouac's novel Desolation Angels. I decided to add an extensive plot summary and other information, as it disappointed me that this information was not already there.

So, simply, I add information to pages that don't have enough information, because that annoys me.
