I am editing information on Wikipedia concerning marine mammals for NOAA under the supervision of Dr. Mridula Srinivasan, as a Marine Mammal Wikipedia page curator. My first assignment is to edit the pages for beluga and gray whales. I plan to correct any false information, expand upon concepts and provide updates concerning new findings. I will be analyzing the Description, Geographic Range, Behavior, Taxonomy, Population status, Threats and Conservation status sections for each cetacean. I will also provide further resources where one can learn more about the species and complete citations for sources referenced in the text.

I have had much experience in the field of Marine Mammalogy. I work as an assistant for Gotham Whale, a nonprofit organization dedicated to tracking and identifying individual marine mammals along the New York and New Jersey coasts (especially humpback whales). I also served as an assistant naturalist for the Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation on seal watching cruises and I am a member of the New York State Marine Education Association. In college, I received a BS in Sustainability Studies from Hofstra University.
