After several decades living in and publishing on the Middle East, I came to see Wikipedia as the perfect place to share knowledge as a common good, made safe on a robust digital platform.

Although I visited most countries in the region, I spent more than seven years in each of Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. My contributions relate more specifically to these three countries.
