Controversies at the Magazine[edit]

  • The killers confessed in Look Magazine, published in 1956 [1]. The full text of the killers' confession can be seen here [2]
  • In 1957 Look was again at the center of controversery, this time internationally. Photographer Phillip Harrington and reporter Edmund Stevens flew from Moscow to China, violating the US State Department ban on journalists visiting Communist China, as reported in Time Magazine [3].
