Gordon Lennon (15 February 1983 - 7 June 2009)[1] was a Scottish footballer who played in defence for Albion Rovers and Dumbarton FC.
Career[edit]
Lennon was born in Larne, Northern Ireland.[1] He was named Albion's Player of the Year in 2006/07[2] and captained Dumbarton to the Scottish Football League Third Division title in 2008/09.[3] Between playing for Albion Rovers and Dumbarton, he was signed for Partick Thistle but did not make any first team appearances and was loaned to Stenhousemuir.[1]
Death[edit]
He died in a car accident at the age of 26.[4][5]
