Your article[edit]

Hari. Please consider adding references where possible within your article, preferably not linking for forum posts. Large unreferenced blocks of information are often edited or deleted as they are considered original research.

Your help with any other "ISKCON" related articles would be appreciated, however I can understand if you would rather distance yourself.

I am not at all expert in this wiki thing. I just did this because I wanted to have more complete and proper information about myself available. I did not know about the forum links so I will not do that any more. What better source about a person than himself? Is that not a reference? For example, how many disciples I had, or the Neighborhood Youth Corps? Who would know that but me?

I can help with other things if you want. I often do interviews when someone wishes to know my perspective on things. Depends, of course...

Generally we steer away from forums because anyone can sign up to a forum and claim to be anyone, very easily. Obviously your case is stronger, it's you on your website, but if possible, avoiding forum links is recommended.

In regards to small details (such a disciple count, early life activities), unless there is a biography somewhere, we will have to leave these unreferenced. I may remove the tags.

Also, you may have not seen my reply, but the book referred to on my talk page is actually about Bhakti Tirtha Maharaja, not Devamrita Swami. A simple mistake made by a user trying to help.

Feel free to add or correct any ISKCON articles - you can see the full list by clicking on "ISKCON" in the category bar at the bottom of your wikipedia page. Chopper Dave 22:56, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Autobiography[edit]

Okay, I checked against the Wikipedia standards, please check the following out :

I don't want to discourage you from working on the article, as I can see a lot of benefit and don't have any problem with editing any POV statements. But it is worth noting the policies that are in place. Referring to your own editing as a verified reference is sadly considered to be invalid. Chopper Dave 00:11, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
