I am a full-time student that has been working on a voluntary basis for the Climate Foundation, a non-profit pioneering the development of a mariculture technology platform called Marine Permaculture that has received considerable press attention, notably in Project Drawdown and the recent documentary film 2040. The aim to restore kelp forests that have been decimated by ocean warming and eventually bring kelp ecosystems to the open ocean for the first time.
