regarding "dust storm" definition. what i want to say is that your memories are short. cutting down all trees for lumber & money creates dust storms and later deserts . this has ocured over & over on earth in the last 5000 years . i saw a documentary wherein in China due to logging an area has become desert. Lebanon, Iraq, Afganistan, Palistine, Israel all used to have great forests, & now are reduced to rock & sand in most places . Mens lack of forsight in this age because previous ages forests were protected by the kings . modern human history is what with acuracy , 2000,3000 ? years According to Mahabharat India was named differently & populated by civilizations for 100's thousands of years. USA is only about 300 years old & just see what they we have done to the forests in this short time. What it will look like in another 100 years i shudder to imagine and the consequent destructiveness of weather due to deforestation ronald paul conroy 2007 july
