Marcia, also known as Marcia Rex and called Marcia Regina by modern historians was an ancient Roman matrona of the late Roman Republic who was the wife of Gaius Julius Caesar II, mother of Gaius Julius Caesar III and grandmother of Roman Dictator Julius Caesar.
Biography[edit]
She was likely a sister of Marcia the Vestal and Quintus Marcius Rex the consul, thus a daughter of Quintus Marcius Rex the praetor.
