Jasper the Raven

Origins

Where Jasper came from is a mystery as one day he appeared before the Empress and pledging his strength and loyalty to her. His mastery of Darkness was a wonder, as at that time the only known Elements were Life, Air, and Earth. In disbelief of him having any merit to such claims of strength, Almia challenged him to single combat and for the first time, she struggled.

Jasper's abilities were so impressive and so overwhelming that she could barely combat against them. While not particularly flashy or grand in scale, his attacks were precise and struck with immense force. Ultimately, he lost the battle but still had proved himself to easily just be a few steps below Almia in terms of strength.

Work had already been set in place to create a college that would promote Elemental growth and study, as well as develop soldiers that the Federation could rely on. Almia set Jasper in place as running the operation as headmaster which he did for a great length of time. It was not until centuries later that Fortuna Grados came and challenged the notion that only humans be allowed to attend (Or at least half-humans). The rebuttal, was that humans had always proven to be the most Elementally sound in comparison to other races, meaning that there was no need to bother. A duel was proposed, with the notion that should Fortuna win, then all races need to be accepted equally into the college and treated better throughout the Federation. If Jasper should win, then she would conference with the other two angel families to ensure that no contest was ever presented against the Federation at least from the angels again.

The actual events of the fight are uncertain. It was staged in a VR simulation room with all restrictions disabled. The only protection was that in the event of death, the loser would be ejected to prevent it. The recorded time of the fight was 0.91 seconds and Jasper lost without any real idea of how or what Fortuna had done. Even in a frame by frame play, it was impossible to discern how but the fight within registered well over S Class output.

Shamed horribly, Jasper stepped down with the suggestion that Fortuna replace him. From there he disappeared from the annexes of history only to resurface much later in the final fight against Michael.

A Dandelion in the Shade

Jasper resurfaces just briefly in an act of martyrdom to buy Victor and his group time to escape from their first conflict with Michael. Michael at this point has even proven to defeat Fortuna though, in exile Jasper had worked to ensure he never lost in humiliation again. Entering his True Form, he tears a piece of space and opens an actual rip to Hell, from it drawing forth the Chaos Element and wielding it against Michael.

With a God Element in hand, he has a massive advantage over Michael as the latter cannot use his absorption to merely negate the Element. Ultimately though, Michael proves to be just too much and delivers a fatal blow. Dying and about to absorbed, a gate opens beneath him and drags him downward, thus preventing Michael from gaining any of his power at the cost of his life being sent to Hell.

Beyond Parity

This story picks up after the end of the School of the Elements storyline. Most of the characters are living out a peaceful life in a small town that harbors Eclipse and Derrick, the only two known Parity Elementalists alive with the goal of protecting them from Michael Grados and preventing him from ever obtaining the Parity Element. Ultimately in a joint attack, Seraph deLeon and the entirety of Neo Onz headed by Michael came down in a massive battle that overtook the city. Despite their preparations, the city fell with Michael killing and absorbing Derrick. Eclipse survived but was taken by Seraph to be used as a weapon to stop Michael. As Seraph is leaving with Eclipse, he is pursued by the combined force of Denkou Zetsumi, Azryal Sunara, Kaiji Sunara, and Naru the Phoenix. Demonstrating his mastery over Thought, he revives Zephyr Almsa by altering her timeline and placing her in his employ. With her at his disposal she activates the Overlimit and showcases a ridiculous display of strength against her former comrades with them holding back in fear of hurting her. She buys Seraph enough time to begin his escape and leaves with him. In the meantime, after defeating Derrick, Michael fought with Seth deAlvannas, Kimiko Asokana, Almia Faytel, Amon Faytel, and Sieg the Behemoth and after what looks like is a victory over Michael, he enters his Anti-Form, or basically a True Form, and annihilates all five of them. From there, he absorbs all of them except Kimiko who he takes with him as he realizes she possesses fragments of Tsukidayo's DNA within her via the Life Element. Years later, Michael has used Neo Onz to infiltrate and take over entire governments and this takes him to the planet of Erens. Here, Michael creates a program designed to manufacture people to have anti-Elements instead of a normal Element for their birth affinity. Using the DNA he was able to take from Kimiko, he creates a cloning process to replicate children in the likeness of Tsukidayo and Kimiko in hopes of succeeding. On Erens he creates numerous districts designed to house these children and appoints several district commanders to regulate and police the areas in the veil of being a teacher or similar role. In this case, Ivan Dosselvich was appointed the district commander for the region with the highest chance of success, which was the creation of Plasma within a child. All other anti-Elements had failed to manifest within their hosts and so it was here that Michael pooled his resources into successfully gaining Plasma, as Plasma was similar to Fire which Tsukidayo was adept at controlling. Ivan eventually had a fling with one of the other teachers at the school he worked at by the name of Francesca (Find last name) and without his knowledge she became pregnant. When the time came that a child successfully manifested Plasma, Ivan's role was to offer the girl, Marika Houkana, to Michael. But it was here that his close friend Zeno Athion stopped him, stating that this could possibly be the biggest mistake that Ivan could ever make. In altering time, Zeno had come to prevent Ivan from allowing Michael the ability to gain Plasma, which would ultimately make the final stand against him an impossible feat. Ivan consented, buying the group time to escape the district by fighting off several high ranking Neo Onz members by himself before dying at their hands. Francesca later died giving birth, leaving Zeno to raise the child who was named Victor Dosselvich, Zeno raised Marika Houkana, Victor Dosselvich, and (Name here) in hopes of bringing up the next generation to correct the mistakes of the last, namely Michael Grados' path of destruction. The three were trained in the areas that they were best at with Marika becoming extremely powerful with her use of the anti-Element Plasma, Victor capable of genius levels of intellect that included an understanding of Aethra technology, and (Name here) capable of (Skill here). It was implanted into Victor that he would be the one to unite the Sacred Blades together by Zeno before the man disappeared, leaving the three to their ultimate goal.

Neo Onz

Origins

It began as a unification of ten strong extremists that were all allied against the Galactic Federation of Elements, but they were brought under Michael Grados' rule. Originally they were brought together to take down the Federation and the Empress along with it. Michael slowly twisted their original ideal of just a change in galactic rule to the complete annihilation of sentient life. The group itself has changed many members over time though the original ten were a strong and formidable group in themselves though they were eventually replaced by more and more extreme members, oftentimes even criminals. With more time, Neo Onz became a massive organization that essentially devoted themselves to Michael's rule though very few knew his actual goals. Every member was given a mark that was created through the Seal anti-Element that the first member Asmodeus Houkana was able to use.

Members

Asmadonna Erebes - After what happened at the Masamune Academy during her time there as a teacher, she grew to hate the Federation. Her obsession with Tsukidayo did not help matters any either and she was easily swayed by Michael. Given the 'Dream' Seal, she was able to entrap a target in complete hypnosis and making her appear as if the object of their dreams. Asmodeus Houkana - An outcast of the Houkana family for his radical ideals. He is the step-brother to Alexander Houkana though mostly forgotten by his family line. He created the Seal anti-Element in which he can lock away power that can be activated at a later time. With his power, he was able to augment most of Neo Onz with these seals to allow their members an advantage in combat when they were outnumbered. His own Seal is called 'Release' in which he enters an anti-form for Seal. Helena Erebes - Daughter of Asmadonna and Thanaduos. Brought up to bear a great resentment for the Federation, she winds up in the midst of the conflict along with her mother. She bears the 'Hate' Seal which gives her the ability to temporarily ignore a person's Soul Barrier. Metatron - In truth he was nameless or at least had forsaken his real name in favor of a codename. He wanted nothing more than to cripple the Federation and watch it crumble for its arrogance. He was given the 'Armor' Seal which allowed him to become temporarily invincible, even to soul-based attacks. Omega - Taking on just a codename, Omega joined out of her anger for what the Federation had done over the years. Due to damages she had received, she was a cyborg and thus given the 'Machinate' Seal, which allowed her to rapidly convert everything around her into a techno-organic material that she could control. Sinras - He chose to forget his name much like Metatron. He was a criminal on deathrow though Michael broke him out in wanting to exploit his powers over Arcane. He was given the 'Halve' Seal which allowed him to split atoms and cause concentrated explosions in an area.

Non-Elemental

Origins

The first reported non-Elemental ability laid within the early Korovich years in which some of their youth were capable of abilities that seemed to transcend anything that made sense. Even though this was millennia before the Korovich had discovered Thought as an Element, those with Clairvoyant or Psychic powers seemed to exist every so often. In humans these people were often killed before they could ever reach their full potential though in one case, Almia Faytel, her power was brought to fruition. She held within her numerous powers but specifically she had the 24th Lock also known as the 24th Chromosome which gave her extreme mental control over anything that could not fight against her will.

List

Pyrokinesis - Wielding this, people are capable of fire manipulation without the use of the actual Fire Element. Considered very dangerous. Telepathy - As simple as it sounds, those that are telepathic are capable of communicating directly via the mind without any physical or elemental aid. White Rose - Created to combat the Aethra, the White Rose is considered one of the most dangerous abilities in existence, rivaling even that of a Prism or Maelstrom. This ability works by opening a slight rip into the Realm of Creation and from here creating a contract by which a target would 'accept' usually through an action. Oftentimes the 'acceptance' is done by picking a white rose hence the name.

Sasha the Blade

Origins

Born around the time of when humans and aethra were just starting to meet. Her father, curious to understand the humans, fell in love with one in particular though this was considered an outrage in the aethran culture. Despite this, they remained together with his immense 'wealth' or at least the aethran equivalent to it. He owned an ourocium mine and with this he was able to persevere despite being prejudiced against for his strange decisions in being with a human woman. Against all hatred, the two had a child who became the only half-aethran in existence and thus Sasha was born. She was not nearly as intelligent as other aethran children and of course looked distinctly different, thus it was only a matter of time before she was pulled from any form of public education. Being taught at home by her father and mother various parts of business and politics, she yearned for something more. Eventually her expressed displeasure in 'boring' work, her father hired someone to teach her a line of work that was geared towards her adventurous personality. For decades she trained under Aristotle in the means of combat prowess, tactical mastery, and the use of her environment. She fit the bill for mercenary work and eventually set out to earn her keep, wanting to prove that aethran culture was wrong about her. Sasha left, though not before receiving two parting gifts from her father and one from her mother. Her aethran family lineage had always passed along two beautifully crafted swords in the pair of Sange and Yasha. Her mother presented her with an ornate hair clip as if to contrast two dangerous weapons. A gift for her bravery and courage and a gift for her beauty and charisma. Nonetheless, as time went on, Sasha fought in several battles across the universe and typically for the highest bidder, though she was not without ethics. There was no chance that she would ever help someone who was committing crimes or atrocities, in fact, if she found out in mid-mission, she would turn on the perpetrator without a care for the loss of money. She lived like this for hundreds of years and remained without aging as well due to her aethran genetics. Eventually she found herself in the employ of a terrible individual on Chernabog.

Birth of a Godslayer

Unknown to her, she was actually guarding a terrible slave ring on the planet despite being lied to about the products shipped as well as why they might be targeted. In battle, she was cut down terribly by Hector Moscline's annihilation wave. She fell in the fight right away without getting to do much in the fight. Despite this, Reimus' Seraph offered to help save her. After some time she was healed fully with what parts of her body were damaged being regenerated. During the battle, she had lost her clip and while rendered incapable of walking her weapons were 'borrowed' by Lavernius and Sergei. She spent some time getting to know BE Core #010 who had been saved by the group prior. The two got along well, being similar in that they were not 'normal' compared to most. About the time Sasha was able to move around again the group returned with the Sacred Blade Aquarius in hand. At the moment, not one member of the group proved capable of doing anything with the weapon and it was presented to her for seeing if she could do anything with it. In an instant, she felt the call of what really was in her hands and partially awakened the blade. It wasn't long afterward that she was able to speak with and later manifest Aquarius in her regular form. Though despite this, Aquarius seemed reluctant to divulge much information about herself and what she was to Sasha though the two got along amicably. A short while later, Sasha and her comrades encountered Aristotle on a mission to intercept a Federation freighter that was moving mass quantities of WMDs based on Maelstrom technology. Her group was easily incapacitated by the man and he left, taking the WMDs with him. His words after defeating them all stuck with Sasha well, feeling shame that she had deviated from what his teachings were centuries ago.

Tournament of Kings - Reward is an uncolonized planet (earth-like) within one of Reimus' controlled systems in the outer rim. Reclamation by Force - Ino Aurian has come to take Aquarius from the group. There can be multiple outcomes depending. The Apostle of Water - If the blade is surrendered to Ino Aurian, then this mission has Aristotle helping the group infiltrate to steal it and the Blade of Life back. If the blade is not surrendered then this mission involves Aristotle coming to claim it from the group.

Laruiz Escatti

Origins

Born to korovichian parents, Laruiz was considered by many to be quite lesser in terms of skill and capability. As with all korovich, she was at least able to choose her growth and bodily development. She favored a small profile with the only two discerning features of her korovichian heritage being her feline ears which she hides under a hood along with both eyes being feline. Ultimately she left Koros and signed with the Federation, hoping to better herself and become a soldier. In contrast to the korovichian lifestyle of peace, she believed that it was only through fighting for what one believed could a difference ever be achieved. She was assigned to one of the lower rank squads under the command of Menmaatre. Joining them was Lavernius and Garrelek, and the four became a close unit.
