The Verve Jazz Ensemble is a contemporary New York-based jazz group founded in 2006. The VJE aspires to reinvent beautiful classic jazz melodies in refreshing, enjoyable, and accessible arrangements appealing to listeners new to jazz as well as those schooled in its deep and rich legacy. The group’s debut album, It’s About Time, was released in December 2012, and has been well received by listeners who have posted scores of reviews on CD Baby, iTunes, and Amazon.[1,2]
