I am a 2nd generation Japanese living in Santa Monica California. I went to college in Los Angeles and studied Japanese for three years in Japan. I've been doing Judo since I was a kid and I learned Taiko drumming from my grandfather. My brother studied Kendo and Iaido in Tokyo and found a Iaido teacher for me here in Santa Monica.

April 2006-7 I am currently studying Japanese Literature and language at Meiji University in Tokyo and doing other related research work.

June 2008 - I have recently return to Los Angeles and I am working for a Japanese research institute.

February 2010 - I have now moved to Shizuoka to live with my wife's family
