Paul Larudee (born April 25th, 1946) is a peace activist with the International Solidarity Movement and the Free Palestine Movement, cofounder of the Free Gaza Movement[1], a piano tuner, and a former linguistics professor from El Cerrito, California. He was onboard the Sfendoni, a ship of the Freedom flotilla attempting to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza, when the ship was raided by Israeli forces [2]. After exercising non-violent resistance and refusing to sign some papers, Israeli Naval Forces beat, tased, tied-up, twisted, and hit him with a flash bomb.[3] He was then kept in prison for two days at Givon Prison, Ramle, Israel.[4]
