Nqobizwe (Pronounced 'nqo-bi-zwe' African naming traditions) Elvin thabiso ngubane (born 14 December 1996) at Kwazulu-natal at Northdale hospital at 21h46, commonly known as Nqobizwe or Mjalisto boy, is a south African musician, drawing artist and a former lamontville golden arrows and Wits university academy player. He is currently a professional educator at KwaNyuswa at Hill crest secondary school He completed his first degree bachelor of arts major in drama advance acting and English. He won the Durban youngest artist of the year award in 2012 with his album (pain of a hustler) and 2013 with his album "me, music and the world", Renowned for his great work in music,choruses, battling in open mics,Nqobizwe is locally regarded to be one of the best musicians of his generation. His music is based on story telling about life circumstances and issues surrounding people.

EARLY LIFE

Nqobizwe Elvin Thabiso ngubane born in kwazulu natal in North-dale hospital was born and raised in kwaZulu-natal by Virginia Hlamukile Ngubane and Jotham Ngubane. during his childhood he was a poet and a soccer player at primary level till present. he used to perform during school events and community events, the community named him the young black poet because of the talent they experienced from him. he was a soccer player also playing an impressive football that was enjoyed by many from his community. At his young age he experienced alot as he was not raised by his mother because of methally disturbance suffered by his mother then his aunt raised him then until she passed away in 2005. "there is no one gave me a life like my aunt did, she showed me how to beat the cold world and make it a warm place, she can be no more but to me she still exist spiritually". thabiso added.

GOLDEN ARROWS 2008 U13/15

"Mjalisto boy", the short term for "make them happy", is known in Durban by the nickname "mjalisto boy".Nqobizwe simply went by his first time upon his trials to lamontville golden arrows football club u/13 but they couldn't sign him because they said he was too young even though he was impressive, his weight and height limited him from being signed. The next following year they invited him to the club training sections thereby allowing him to train with the team and a week later organized the friendly game with victory academy from Johannesburg just to see him on the pitch,he scored two goals both free kicks and later on that day Lamontville Golden Arrows Academy signed him official on the under 15 team.

Nqobizwe played 55 matches and scored 39 goals (including 17 free kicks, 5 penalties) for lamontville golden arrows team. He was a part of the 2008 development side that won Durban association league, starring alongside with Ntando and Jomo in an attacking trio. Before his arrival to golden arrows he played for monitor football club that was based in mayville cato crest in durban kwazulu natal, that was managed by Thuba. He played 38 games for the monitor and scored 29 goals. in November 2008 during his first leg match in Engen cup against moroka swallows development at university of KwaZulu-Natal sport ground kicked off at 18h00 (C.A.T) , he scored 3 goals for his side as they lost the game conceding late goal from penalty sport header.later that week in second leg he couldn't play because of knee injury and they lost 1-0 (5-3). "we signed Thabiso because during our game with monitor he was the only player to punish our side with two goals both first and second leg" Wanda-boy Ngcoya added.

WITS UNIVERSITY ACADEMY FOOTBALL CLUB -2010

After Thabiso's move to Hammarsdale he joined city arrows and later that year he went for trials to wits academy where he trained with the team for two weeks and impressed the coaches then he was signed on 23 june 2010 but fail to stay at the club because the team manager said he will start school at grade 7 because he is too young but he can still recover and make it to the first team. The club and the player could not agreed and by those circumstances he resigned and join back Lamontville Golden Arrows in 2010 and stayed there till 2012.In 2009,his move to Hammarsdale costed him his future in soccer as he was unable to travel to the stadium to train with the club because of the clash of school work and his career in soccer.Nqobizwe played for Monitor fc in Mayville and Rhinos. In 2010 he joined City Arrows in hammarsdale. With City Arrows, he won nothing because he couldn't adapted to the style of playing that was used.
