Template:2010 FIFA World Cup qualification - UEFA Group 5[edit]

Who came up with the idea of a new color scheme for secured second :| We should go with the same color scheme as used in the other confederations :| Lejman (talk) 20:15, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

I see ip-number edits all over the place and no discussions... great.Lejman (talk) 20:20, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
It was also on 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification and 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA) pages, but I fixed those. Thanks for explaining the situation =)Lejman (talk) 20:24, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for requesting the page protection on France national football team. It's nice to see that there are hardworking IPs out there! Just wanted to make sure you are appreciated. tedder (talk) 22:14, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

April Fool's Day main page[edit]

I'll copy the reply to your message on the talk page here: "Not a single thing you see on the Main Page today is a hoax, it's just an attempt to lighten things up for a day." Everything on the Main Page, including wife selling, is completely true. For April Fool's Day, we simply take the strangest articles and deliberately make their main page blurbs misleading. Ima Hogg is probably the April Fool's Day article that has baffled people the most. --S-man (talk) 21:22, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Colts elimination[edit]

The Colts can still get in on a 3 way tie with Bengals and Jets. It would go to strength of victory. Mjhammerle123 (talk) 22:59, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

Group H[edit]

Then perhaps it should be noted that Ukraine is at least guaranteed 2nd place in theory? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.76.58.242 (talk) 21:09, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

If Montenegro win and Ukraine lose, it goes to GD. Montenegro could then pass Ukraine on GD. as unlikely as this is in reality, it is still wrong to say that Montenegro are out. 188.221.79.22 (talk) 21:13, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
Alright I'll give you that — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.76.58.242 (talk) 21:15, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Ukraine - Montenegro[edit]

In case of two tied team it is not GD matter, but games between them. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 21:17, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Yes, GD is first, but if teams are tied on points (which what could happen), it is not GD that will matter. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 21:22, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
Sorry, what? The rankings are "a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches, b) goal difference in all group matches". Thus if "points obtained in all group matches" is tied, then GD will matter. 188.221.79.22 (talk) 21:24, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
