November 2022[edit]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Giovanni Reyna. Thank you. TheManInTheBlackHat (talk) 15:06, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

TheManInTheBlackHat Could you tell me what was the problem with that source? OK, it did not name Giovanni Reyna, but it was a contemporary source about the death of his brother, mentioning the man established by references in the article to be his father. Giovanni himself was 10 at the time. I added a later reference mentioning all of them, if that's better. If you reverted cited information in a minute, it doesn't fill me with confidence that you were checking everything. 84.65.199.217 (talk) 15:17, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies, after a second review it looks like you are in the right. I read it a bit fast and thought it was vandalism as the filter picked it up as you editing the death of the main subject. Again, sorry about this, and I will keep the current edit you have to the page. TheManInTheBlackHat (talk) 15:19, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
