Just to explain, i removed your edit in prestige because the link was to a horse, not the meaning of the word "pensive". However, please do continue to be bold, and let me know if i can of any assistance. Thanks. Rockpocket 03:15, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Thanks for your message. I may have not made myself entirely clear. I have no argument with having a link to "pensive" (in the sense you explained it to me). However, if you read WP:CONTEXT you will see that links must be context sensitive. Let me give you an example. If i wish to write the following sentence:
"The Beatles were a great live band"
and wanted to link the word 'live', i must make sure the link is in context, i.e., i would write:
"The Beatles were a great live band" (the link is written live band)
and not:
"The Beatles were a great live band" (the link is written live band)
As it stands, your "pensive" link is entirely out of context and thus should not be there. There are two ways around this. Either you can link pensive to another existing page (by typing pensive) or you can create an article for pensive as you mean it (e.g. pensive (ancestry) or pensive (breeding) and redirect the link there once it is made. If you chose to do that, i can create a disambiguation page at pensive and move the horse to pensive (horse). Let me know. However, in the meantime i am going to re-remove the link as against policy (WP:CONTEXT). Thanks. Rockpocket 03:43, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
