how do i make it into an article? Aujax231 (talk) 12:40, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

January 2020[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Roswell UFO incident, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. David J Johnson (talk) 12:07, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

its tough to find a source showing a negative but i will try Aujax231 (talk) 12:41, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Could I please remind you that Wikipedia requires reliable, secondary, sources and not any WP:FRINGE source publications. The general tone of your deleted contributions seemed to imply "conspiracy theories" and this would not be accepted by the encyclopedia. Thank you and regards, David J Johnson (talk) 19:32, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You must prove a suitable reference[edit]

You will note that twice today I removed your addition to Roswell UFO incident. The problem is that the ref you gave cannot be accessed. You will need a proper reference for that info to remain. Moriori (talk) 00:26, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

i posted the web address of the article earlier. can i just paste that in as the reference or does it need to be in proper format? Aujax231 (talk) 02:43, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Proper format. Please read Wikipedia:Tutorial/Citing sources. Moriori (talk) 08:13, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
