July 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Music of Pakistan, but we regretfully cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. If you have reference materials to support these claims, kindly include them in the article. Otherwise, they constitute original research. Blehfu (talk) 20:59, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its true though[edit]

Harsh though it may be, what I said is true. Try combining the term Western Classical Music and Pakistan (or India) on Google and you'll find nothing. I am just trying to highlight the fact that both these countries (along with the whole of South Asia) have no "high culture". Baburghazi (talk) 21:09, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am in no way disputing what you've added to the article; but in making such bold claims must be supported by some sort of published reference. See the sections Exceptional claims under Wikipedia:When to cite. --Blehfu (talk) 21:12, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I know which is why I said it to you and didnt put it back in :). Nevermind. Baburghazi (talk) 21:27, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, as you did with this edit to Culture of Pakistan. Thanks. Rror (talk) 21:30, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
