Notability[edit]

Before you begin I think you should read WP:N, in regards to the article you added for Tarah Lee the "article" was closer to an advertisement, the roles in television I could find no existance of and she lacks proof of notability outside of self promotion. –– Lid(Talk) 08:01, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Having a fan club itself is not signs of notability, there are thousands of bands for example that hve fanclubs but all lack identifiable notability out of a small clique following. The required eleent of notability is ability to prove that the individual, or band, has been covered by third part mainstream reliable sources neutrally. If you can find neutral third party sources that illustrate Tarah Lee as a notable individual (note: notable does not mean trivial mentions) then she is probably able to have an article on wikipedia. –– Lid(Talk) 08:13, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am not trying to argue with you, and don't take this as an argument, but also don't accuse me of just making a flat decision and being unmoving. I did look at those sources, as I looked for other evidence of Tarah Lee's notability. Specifically the problems with the links you just gave alone are that linkedin is a social networking site which is not evidence of notability, as are all things in the vein of myspace, modelmayhem is a self published model social networking site, and the link is nothing but an advertisement and finally zazzle is user uploaded thus making anything on the site based entirely off anyone in the world. None of these constitute third party mainstream reliable sources of notability for Tarah Lee. –– Lid(Talk) 08:32, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
